The design for this contemporary home originated from a live competition held at the time of its creation. The client's specifications were intentionally broad, with the primary desire being a family home that would offer ample space, abundant natural light, and a sense of openness and airiness. These key requirements served as the guiding principles throughout the design process.

The plot of land selected in Plymouth was carefully considered, taking into account both its size and the existing ground conditions. The design was meticulously tailored to harmonize with the landscape, maximizing the use of space while ensuring that the home would be well-integrated with its natural surroundings. The result is a thoughtfully designed residence that meets the client's aspirations for a bright, spacious, and welcoming family home, reflecting a modern yet timeless approach to architecture.
